In Japan, it has become a social problem that old gems of good quality are traded at low prices and leaked overseas. At sharanpoi, we use precious stones removed from old gems as “Heritage Gems” and send out to the world unique fine jewelry that incorporates the beautiful traditional crafts of the Orient.

The mining of gemstones and bullion entails various problems, such as destruction of the natural environment and harsh working conditions. At Adlin Hue, we make the most of precious resources that already exist on earth, such as deadstock stones, recycled silver, and pearls that are destined to be discarded.

With the desire to pass on this precious culture to future generations and spread it to the world, we propose a D2C business model that allows craftsmen to earn a fair profit, and help them launch their own brand. CEO Mariko Abe

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan. In her twenties, she devoted herself to the luxury fashion business, working as a PR and buyer at the boutique STRASBURGO and as a merchandiser at MARNI JAPAN.

In 2018, participated in the launch of the jewelry brand ARTIDA OUD. It all started with a volunteer experience in South India during college. Adopting a D2C model that connects producers and consumers with the aim of creating a cycle that returns profits to developing countries. Through donation involving her products, she collaborated with an international NGO to realize a project to build a school in India.

Established sharanpoi Ltd. in 2021. To promote sustainability in jewelry industry, she launched her own fine jewelry brand, sharanpoi. Aiming to make people aware of the social problem of Japan, where high-quality old gems are being leaked overseas at low prices, she has introduced her unique sense of values to the world by incorporating valuable traditional oriental craft techniques. 

In 2022, she launched another jewelry brand, Adlin Hue. In order to raise public awareness of social issues related to the natural and working environments associated with gem and metal mining, she is committed to making the most of the precious resources that already exist on earth, such as deadstock stones and recycled silver. Hoping that her idea will spread to the world.

In addition to operating her own brand, she is involved in product development and consulting related to jewelry and traditional crafts aimed at supporting Japanese craftsmen. Utilizing her knowledge as a driving force of the D2C business model, she is trying her best to support activities to launch their own brands and transmit them to the world so that Japanese factories can obtain appropriate profits instead of subcontracting.
